  • Where did you find the Essay #1 prompts? Only Essay #2 is available on the Common App.

    • See revisions. Admissions office initially gave me wrong supplement. Here you go.

      1. Please submit a one page, single-spaced essay that explains why you have chosen Carnegie Mellon and your particular major(s), department(s) or program(s). This essay should include the reasons why you’ve chosen the major(s), any goals or relevant work plans and any other information you would like us to know. If you are applying to more than one college or program, please mention each college or program to which you are applying. Because our admission committees review applicants by college and program, your essay can impact our final decision. (Required, Upload, Hint: A .pdf file under 500 KB in size will be accepted.)

  • I filled in all the sections and supplements to CMU. I go to print preview and is able to print out/pdf the common app along with info section on CMU but not the writing supplement. Are they not allowing that portion?

Testimonials

“I really love the app (ALL COLLEGE APPLICATION ESSAYS) and use it as a go-to for a lot of different things. I notice it’s available through the Google Play store now (I’m an Android AND an Apple user — go figure!)

I took a screen shot of the Middlebury app and sent it to my colleague in Westchester NY and she bought the app, too. I also introduced it to our local public high school college programs coordinator.” —Janis Allen
